ABOUT PERMANNENT

Born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Permannent (Braden Permann) was first introduced to electronic music around 2010 through artists such as Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, and others shaping the early wave of bass music. As his listening expanded, so did his curiosity and desire to engage more deeply with the music. After relocating to Milwaukee at the age of 18, Braden purchased his first mixing board, marking his initial step into actively working with electronic sound.

Over time, Permannent gravitated toward more experimental and forward-thinking artists, drawing inspiration from figures such as Tipper, Mickman, Resonant Language, and others within the underground bass scene. After years of being immersed in the music he was mixing and discovering, he felt compelled to begin producing his own material.

Since 2022, Permannent has dedicated the majority of his free time to learning the intricacies of electronic music production. His sound primarily centers around halftime bass music, typically ranging from 80–100 BPM, often featuring heavy, textured basslines layered over hip-hop–influenced drum patterns. Though still early in his production journey, Permannent demonstrates a clear dedication to his craft through both his released work and an evolving unreleased catalog showcased during live performances. 

Currently, Permannent is actively developing a substantial catalog of new music, refining his sound and preparing material for upcoming performances. As the project continues to evolve, he is increasingly open to booking opportunities and looks forward to sharing his music with wider audiences in live settings.
